WORSHIP & PRAYER

We believe worship is a response of love, gratitude, and adoration to God, and one of the most beautiful and intimate ways we experience communion with Him.

A crowd of people at a Grace Capital City church worship service, some with hands raised, gathered around musicians playing instruments and a microphone on a patterned rug.

Our Sunday gatherings are an act of worship in every way — through song, teaching, prayer, generosity, service, and community. We gather to offer our lives to God and to be formed together as His people.

Join us for an evening of worship and intercessory prayer as we slow down and make space for God’s presence together. Come when you can and stay as long as you’d like.

We believe that God speaks to us and we are meant to hear him. Whenever possible, we offer Prophetic Appointments. These are intentional times our Prayer Team listens to God on your behalf and shares what they’re hearing - all to encourage, strengthen, and comfort God’s church. Sign ups are in person and open at the beginning of the gathering.

Our worship team includes musicians, vocalists, dancers, and production volunteers who help lead our church in worship each week. Auditions are typically held once a year, so keep an eye out for audition announcements, and feel free to email our Worship Pastor with any questions about getting involved.

Baptism is a public declaration of faith and an outward sign of an inward transformation through Jesus. It is a way to share with others that you have chosen to follow Christ and are beginning a new life with Him.

We celebrate baptisms together as a church and would love for you to be part of the next baptism service.

BAPTISM

A few times a year, we practice spiritual disciplines together as a church. Fasting is a way to intentionally make space for God by setting aside something we depend on physically, so we can remind ourselves that our true sustenance comes from the Lord. Fasting helps us pray more intentionally, listen more closely, and realign our hearts with God. We’ve put together some resources to help you learn more about fasting and how our church approaches this practice.

We believe we are meant to be Relentless Worshippers, those who worship with everything we have, in every season we are in.

Out of this heart to honor and praise God came original songs, written by our Worship Director, David Virgo, that we believe were not only anthems for our church, but meant to be a source of encouragement for believers all over the world.
