FAMILIES

We believe that God is active in the lives of kids – they can hear from God and make an impact for His Kingdom.
In CapKids & CapStudents, we want to partner with parents as we invite their children to understand the true heart of God.

  • CapKids and CapStudents meet at The 507: just a 1-minute walk from Miracle Theatre!

Just look for the black GCC Tent and the large A-frame sign that says “Drop Off / Pick Up”. Don’t worry about missing us - you can ask any volunteer and they’ll walk with you to The 507.

    • If you’re coming from Eastern Market Metro, we’re before you get to Miracle Theatre.

    • If you’re coming from the parking lot under the 695 overpass, you’ll pass Miracle Theatre and see us right after!

  • Drop-off is anytime after 9:45am.

Pick-up is 10-15 minutes after service or no later than 11:45am.

  • CapKids meets at The 507, an event space only a 1-minute walk from Miracle Theatre (close to the corner of 8th St & E St).

We will have GCC volunteers visible and you can look out for a black tent with the GCC logo and a CapKids Drop Off A-Frame Sign on the sidewalk.

You will be greeted and checked in by someone from our CapKids team.  Your child will be in the class that corresponds to their age group (see information below) and join others for a weekly lesson and craft.

All of our volunteers have been background checked and trained to work with kids.

For an additional level of security, a guard is stationed outside The 507 the entire time kids are in this space.

  • Please feel free to bring anything that will make your child comfortable. However, if you should forget something, we've probably got it!

Snacks are provided at each gathering. If your child has special dietary needs, please feel free to bring a snack you feel comfortable with them having and just let us know at check in.

  • We have a nursing room available for parents and newborns located on the Balcony Level at Miracle Theatre.

Infants are invited to join us in CapKids at 3 months.

Strollers are encouraged to be left at The 507 where our kids and students meet, safe and secure with volunteers and a security guard. If you need a stroller with you at Miracle Theatre, just let a volunteer know and we’ll show you where it can be stored during service.

  • We offer several different classes for each unique age group that you will be directed to when you sign in at check in:

    • Seedlings (3months-1 year)

    • Sprouts (2 years- 4years)

    • Buds (5 years-8 years)

    • CapStudents (9-13 years)

  • If you have a child with special or unique needs we’d love to hear from you. Email us and we will work to accommodate your child’s needs so they are included.
