COMMUNITY LIFE
Reaching and Raising Disciples Together: Meet Ups, House Churches, & Equip Groups
MADE FOR CONNECTION: TO GOD AND OTHERS
Living life in community looks different for everyone, especially here in the DMV region. It could significantly depend on where you live, where you work, what stage of life you’re in, what hobbies you enjoy, and more.
Though our need for connection always exists, how that need is filled can change.
We intentionally offer a variety of ways to connect with community at GCC. From casual, low-commitment meet ups to structured, higher commitment Equip Groups. Click on each one to learn more and view current opportunities for each one!
Connection Meet Ups
Love grabbing coffee or breakfast with people and catching up?
Enjoy going for a run with a group or visiting museums in the area?
These groups are great for anyone wanting to join in and be present with others in a more casual environment. Come when you can and meet others in a similar stage of life, or who share a love for a hobby or adventure.

House Churches
Designed to be spaces where we engage with one another outside the sanctuary and Sundays, truly living life together as the body of Christ.
These groups are community-led by members of our church and each House Church meets together to be a spiritual home to support, challenge, and encourage one another.
We like to think of them as pockets of presence reaching out to different parts of the city - sharing meals, worshipping, reading the Scriptures and learning to live missionally in our neighborhoods, workplaces and campuses.
Equip Groups
EGs are all about developing disciples in our community: small groups with a 1:6 leader-to-participant ratio that use a curated curriculum to foster vulnerability, spiritual disciplines, and accountability.
